Returns Policy

Returns

Please call or email info@landybitz.com.au prior to return for a Returns Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMAxxxx). Failure to have this may cause unnecessary delay in the Returns procedure.

 

Order cancellations:

You are free to cancel your order at any time and for any reason before it is dispatched. To cancel, we need explicit instructions from the person who placed the order either by email or by phone.

An order may not be cancelled after it has been dispatched or while it is in transit, but must be treated as a return. In this eventuality, a refund for the goods will be provided when they are returned to us (as per this policy).

 

Goods not required or incorrectly ordered:

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are free to cancel your your order and return unwanted goods within fourteen days of delivery. Please notify Landybitz by phone or email to obtain the RMA number.  Goods must be returned at your expense, in the original unblemished packaging. They must be in the same new and unused condition as originally sold, adequately packed to avoid damage in transit. It is suggested that goods are sent registered post or insured with the courier as damaged goods cannot be refunded.

Upon satisfactory inspection, the full value of the goods will be refunded to the payment method used at the point of sale.

Landybitz may elect to accept goods not required in specific circumstances up to 30 days following the date of delivery. The same conditions apply as above, but may be subject to a 10% to 15% to 20%  restocking/re-boxing fee. Landybitz reserve the right to refuse the return of unwanted goods outside this time period.

 

Damaged goods:

Receipt of damaged goods must be reported to Landybitz within 24 hours of delivery to comply with the couriers’ policies.  If the damage is visible upon delivery, please sign the courier note as “damaged”. You will be issued with an RMA number and asked to keep all packaging and to supply photos of both the goods and packaging by email to Landybitz. This will enable us to replace the goods as swiftly as possible.

Landybitz will then arrange with you to return the damaged item at our cost and at your convenience.

 

Faulty or defective goods:

You are free to return defective goods under a warranty claim for the full warranty period after delivery. You will be asked to complete our warranty return form in full, including vehicle details, to ensure that we have a complete explanation of the problem. If the item is found to be faulty, you will have the option of a free replacement or repayment of cost and return delivery charge.

It may be necessary to return the item to the supplier or manufacturer to confirm the reason for failure. This may be a lengthy process and if a replacement is urgent, we will ask you to pay for another item until the inspection procedure is completed. Upon confirmation of defect, this cost will be refunded with return delivery charge.

Please note that the warranty given by both Landybitz and the manufacturers of our products will only cover the value of the item. Labour charges and other costs are not included.

 

Incorrect goods despatched:

Occasionally the wrong item is sent to a customer due to Landybitz picking/packing error.. 

We will offer an exchange for the correct item or a full refund upon return in a new and unused condition.

Landybitz will issue an RMA number and can arrange to collect, arrange for you to leave at a local shop for collection, or will refund the postage cost to enable the return.

 

Refunds:

Where a refund is the most suitable course of action, payment will be made by the same method used on the original sale.  Please be aware that refunds are processed by credit & debit card companies less quickly than sales and may take several days to appear on your statement after it has been authorised.

 

Landybitz reserve the right to refuse returned goods if necessary. Reasons may include:

  • Goods that have been used.

  • Soiled goods/product box.

  • Goods that have an odour i.e. smoke or fuel.

  • Goods damaged as a result of misuse or ill-treatment.

 

Landybitz cannot be held responsible for any items incorrectly ordered online. If you have previously discussed the order with our customer service team, we can only advise on the information given at that time. We are finding that an increasing number of customers are ordering incorrectly and are sometime unaware of the changes, upgrades or modifications that have been made to their vehicles by previous owners. Landybitz Terms & Conditions

General

The Company namely Landybitz AU Suppliers of parts & accessories for Land Rover vehicles.

These are the Company terms & conditions of sale to which all sales including E-Commerce and distance selling is subject. It is the customer responsibility to read the T&C’s on each occasion a purchase is required. All available stock items will normally be dispatched within 48hrs of receiving your order. Any items not in stock can normally be sourced within 24hrs, however if we are unable to supply your request we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given if payment has already been made for the goods. Part numbers and pictures are used for reference only and may not depict the actual product received.

 

Title & Risk.

Risk of any products shall pass to the buyer or their appointed agent upon receipt of delivery. The title of the goods shall pass to the buyer upon cleared payment in full of the invoice price including delivery costs, until such time the title and ownership of the goods remain with the company. The Company shall be entitled at any time to recover any or all products in the buyers possession to which the Company have title, and for that purpose the Company it’s employees or agents may with such transport as is necessary enter upon any premises occupied by the buyer or any third party or to which the buyer has access and where the goods may be or are believed to be situated. 

Prices - All prices are in AU $ and subject to GST at the current rate of 10% on all items.  For E-commerce ordering there is a currency changer in the shopping cart. The Company shall not liable for any delay or failure to deliver goods or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these T&C’s if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Prices listed or quoted are based upon costs prevailing at the time when posted on the website or communicated verbally as agreed. The company shall be entitled to adjust the price of the goods as at the time of dispatch and or provision by such amount as may be necessary to cover any increase sustained by the company after the date of acceptance of the buyers order and any direct or indirect costs of making, obtaining, handling storing or supplying the goods. Any such adjustment shall be given will be given in writing by the company to the buyer prior to despatch of the goods. Any quotations are valid for 10 days and subject to conditions.

E-Commerce - GST will automatically be calculated before you submit your order when you go to the checkout page on our secure server.  The Company will confirm receipt of your order using the address you supplied when registering on our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. Telephone or in person - GST will be given to you verbally and added onto your final invoice along with any agreed carriage costs. Payment - All goods must be paid for in full in AU$ before them or any vehicles or other objects upon which services have been performed are released to the buyer.

 

Delivery of Goods

General – Under normal circumstances available stock items will be dispatched within 48hrs, Same day for express requests (excluding weekends) of receiving your order. Any non- stocked items can normally be sourced within 24hrs (excluding weekends) If we are unable to supply your request we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given if payment has already been made for the goods. Unless otherwise stated the buyer is solely responsible for the cost of delivery, where applicable this will be shown separately on the invoice.  E-Commerce - Various delivery options including costs is on our website and can be product specific. If unsure please speak to an advisor. Telephone or in person - Various delivery options including costs will be offered. Unless otherwise stated all carriage costs to be paid by the customer. Any shortages, or non-delivery or damage of goods ordered, the buyer needs to inform the Company within 3 working days.

Insurance of goods sent from Landybitz and or its 3rd party suppliers is not included in the purchase price unless other wise stated. A option to included insurance with a order is available at check out, at check out you also have to agree to our terms and condtions, Acceptance of a order with no insurance taken is your authority for Landybitz to send your goods with no insurance, said good that my be lost or damaged by the courires concerned will not be replaced or refunded, Landybitz in this case will not accept any liability for loos or damage of goods unless insurance was taken at the point of order. Note Glass can not be insured.

 

Warranty - General

Parts warranty & Liability - All new products are covered by a 12 month manufactures warranty unless otherwise stated. You must notify us immediately if a potential warranty situation arises. We will then advise a course of action. Any suspected faulty product must be returned to us together with the original invoice or proof of purchase and with as much information relating to the problem as possible. Any defective parts must be returned and received by us before it can be exchanged. All warranty items are subject to a physical inspection which may involve returning the item to our supplier to verify the fault before it can be exchanged or refunded. The warranty commences from the original invoice date and not the date of fitment or first use. The warranty covers defects to the item when fitted and used correctly for normal everyday use but does not apply to items used for any extraordinary or unusual uses such as competition, racing, rallying or items subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc. in any way than their original design or intend use., our warranty only covers the product in question and not for any consequential loss or cost, e.g. garage labour, recovery, car hire, re-delivery, parking fines etc.  No claim will be validated if the failure is caused by misuse neglect, overheating, incorrect installation or failure of a related component. Upon acceptance of any warranty item it will be either repaired or replaced free of charge and will only benefit from the balance of the original warranty. Subject to a replacement not being available a full refund will be given.

 

Returns - General

Returns Policy - For any goods to be returned please contact our customer service team on 0417780017 stating you have a return product where you will be given advice and or instruction on delivery or collection of the product. Please ensure all goods are suitably packed to avoid any breakages during transit to our premises. Any warranty products will be collected free of charge. Before returning any items to the Company, regardless of when purchased, the buyer must obtain a returns note number in advance from the Company and this must accompany the returned item(s).

Exchange unit - A serviceable exchange unit must be suitable for reconditioning; broken or incomplete units will not be accepted.

Faulty Goods - Please notify Landybitz upon identifying a possible fault with the product we will verify the warranty and arrange return of the item to enable our warranty process to begin. (See above for detail)

Unwanted Goods/cancellation* - If you decide you do not want any goods that we have supplied you can return the item(s) within 14 working days commencing the day after the product was received by you the customer. The product must be returned in its original undamaged retail packaging and accompanied by the original invoice. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product. Upon receiving and confirming the above the Company will give a full refund no later than 30 days, following the date of receipt of the goods by the Company including the original delivery cost except where the product was part of a consignment. A handling/restocking charge of 15% may be deducted for any items not required and returned.

All special order items are non- returnable.  Refunds can take up to 30 days to procces.

 

Legal

These conditions and the contract shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with Australian law and for the purpose of settlement of any disputes arising out of in connection with them the parties will submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the Australia courts.

Acceptance of good(s) shall signify your acceptance and to be bound by the Company’s latest Terms and Conditions.
